That means 2Mbit/s which in downloading terms means speeds up to 200kb/s.
But they mention the maximum, what's the minimum. The pricing is damn good if u receive 2MB access, but I just don't trust satellite.

I thought the capital B in speed refferent to Bytes? like 2MB = 2*1024 Bytes.

ah my friend, there's a difference. MB = megabits, Mb = megabytes
same as KB = kilobits and Kb = kilobytes :D

ok I called Wow.net (i already have dialup with them). the first thing i asked them is if they are offering it by me, Belmont. He quickly said no, after a little more questioning he said they aren't planning on coming up in my area at all because its not safe! That sucks!

LOL@blatant no and unsafe reason.
We have Carib-Link wireless here at movietowne I haven't heard anyone complain about it, which means it probably works. We have two internet access accounts, one with TSTT and the other with Carib-Link. TSTT for the administrative offices and Carib-Link supplies everything else, but it seems reliable but it's really expensive and we provide it free of charge once u have the wireless access required to access it.
We use to have it accessible to all the way out by the highway, but due to abuse we limited to strictly inside MovieTowne's building itself.

Wow....that $460/month for 2Mb Wireless DSL is rather tempting. I'm willing to give this relatively new service a chance cause I know people on WOW.net Dial-Up who say the service is fine. I do, however, have DirecTV so I have first-hand knowledge what a little rain will do for satellite communications. But after over a year this TSTT, 256Kb is really getting limiting with no upgrade in sight. Anyone have hands-on report & experience with this service to see what the actual speed, latency, etc is like?

ah my friend, jevolution, you are wrong. Hexxx is correct.

Big "B" versus little "b"
Now, if the similar names aren't confusing enough, the abbreviations are worse. Megabit is abbreviated with a lower case b (Mb) and megabyte is abbreviated with a capital B (MB),...

from here. Remember guys, GIYF (Google Is Your Friend).

Also, this 2Mb(bit) service would yield upto 250KB(bytes)/sec max theoretical download speed.
