When I'm on MSN messenger it disconnects every now and then. I often know when it's abou to happen cause my friends tell me that my status is on *offline* when I am still chatting with them and they getting my messages. However soon after I get bumped off!

At first I thought it was just my computer but a friend of mine from Sando, said that he used to experience the same problem but TSTT fixed it.

Have you guys experienced this as well and has TSTT said that they will fix it? I wonder when they'll fix that problem in Marabella? It's kinda annoying!! <_<

Have you tried taking off your firewall? Win XP by default puts it's own firewall on your connection that could cause this problem. Right click on the connection and go "properties"and then "advanced", uncheck the firewall.
This may or may not be the problem.

Of course it could be TSTTs own firewall, which basically blocks everything! I requested that a firewall not be put on my connection when i signed up, but of course they did not listen. I supect that I have their firewall as I am limited to certain things.
Goin in one of these days to complain (yet again!), dsl never worked right since i got it

Nah my friend said it's a TSTT problem...(ba-dom-ching)

When I was signing up for the service I made sure to tell them to keep their firewall off! I haven't had any problems with that thus far, else I wouldn't have been able to use Messenger or those peer-to-peer programs (Kazza, Win Mx).

Now if I turn off the XP firewall I'll not have ANY firewall on my computer!?!?!

Do you have filters on ever phone box that has the same number as the Dsl line?
If you do then it's just tstt playing up as usual, if not put some.

Radioshack: dsl filters - $125.00
