Hi. I recently contacted tstt and upgraded my ADSL account to 1mb and requested the firewall be disabled. A few days later the dsl was upgraded but the firewall was not disabled. I know this because I forwarded certain ports and used a port checker to see if it was open. and disabled the routers firewall. I called back tech support and they said 3 requests was made to disable the firewall and the reason it was not was unclear to me at the time as the technician just said it has been reported to help-desk.
I have no idea on the technical details of this process does anyone ? and why after 3 days it has not been done as yet.
Ps. Sorry for the typo in the topic description.

Mine was same-day too.
Are you sure there isn't something on your local network blocking ports? Software firewall installed on the computer maybe? Maybe a second network device that you haven't configured yet? (if you have a router and a modem, both of those need to have port forwarding set up in addition to calling TSTT and having them disable their firewall on the head-end). Did you double check all your local IP addresses are correctly entered and stuff like that?
