snr as far as i know is signal to noise ratio.
it measures the amount of "noise" on the line compared to the "signal"
higher the better.
but how da hell to u measure snr on a phone line?
i have both the black and grey/black modems.
as for snr i really dont see a difference in interference and stuff
but the old modem had the "sync no surf" problem where u would be connected and not be able to surf.
i got a new modem from tstt as my 1 year was up some crap like that for free so why complain

After GSM, we now have our ADSL crash.
ADSL is down in T&T since 1am and it is still down more than 8 hours later ...
TSTT: 'We have a problem and we are working on it. We do not yet know when it will be fixed"
... back to dialup for now
I was able to ping the ADSL router, but when I tried to reconnect the ADSL link ... it fails.
