It's interesting to look at the internet speed statistics on Speedtest.net for Jamaica compared to Trinidad
The slowest ISP download speed is Cable & Wireless Jamaica with 884 kb/s and the fastest is Merit Communications with 4710 kb/s. Upload speeds are equally impressive. When the economies of both countries are compared (source World Factbook T&T and World Factbook Jamaica) Trinidad and Tobago is leaps and bounds ahead of Jamaica. So why have our leaders failed us so miserably in not encouraging the growth in the communications sector as they have done in Jamaica?

Let's all publish our Speedtest results to at least put us on the map. Here's mine
