I wonder if requested, if Flow will give out your IP. Anyone in Flow could find out? Thought it was interesting since we never signed anything to get Flow internet. What about TSTT?
Check it out.

If you use a bittorrent site and some organization decides they want to sue you, they may get your IP address and approach your ISP for the contact info on the person behind. So what I should have asked is if Flow would give the info to an organization or not. Some will, some won't. I'm hoping they won't want to.

Well the answer is yes and no. ISPs are supposed to keep their customers' information confidential so they should not give out your info to any other ISP or organization... this is where the "no" comes in. But let's say the organization wants to take some form of legal action they should then solicit the assistance of law enforcement agencies (local police, interpol etc) In this case an ISP must co-operate with the particular law enforcement agency and provide whatever information is relevant as they would be required by law to do so... yes in this case.
I hope this answers your question.
