Since 11:16 am my ADSL connection partly died. Suddenly I couldn't even reach TSTT ADSL router, which is the next 'hop' on my way to the Internet.
My connection now drops every 2 minutes and even when I am connected, I am not getting any IP traffic through...

Anybody else with this type of problem here in the Diego Martin exchange area?

Now via GPRS ... dropping me off every couple of minutes too.

Just got a call from another ADSL customer next to Nelson Exchange and they are having the same problem.

I reported it already to the TSTT Internet department ....

OK, it seems TSTT fixed the problem and after 85min all was back online again. It seems that all TSTT ADSL customers were affected ... at least the ones I know.

At my office in the Woodbrook area, ADSL is still down at the time of this posting. It went down around 11:15am as well, perhaps we are on the same exchange. I called someone in Diego Martin who also has a service interruption.

My dsl went down about 11.15am also, it still has not been fixed (5.00pm) they said they cant say when it will be fixed cause they can't contact the technicians. I wonder what phone company's service they are trying to contact these technicians with.

Right now I'm using dial-up.

Seems I am the lucky one ... DSL is back up since 1:40pm.

I presume the have a grilled interface at the main DSL router ...
Hope they have the parts B)

Hmmm way to go TSTT, first you have a scheduled "so called" maintenance with ADSL and then this happens today?

When it happened I was like ok maybe it was my computer but then my friend who has an internet cafe called me and asked if I had internet cause he had none. Then someone else from POS called as well so I knew it wasn't a south thing.

I'm also from Marabella but I'm not sure what time it was back up. Someone said it was supposed to have been back up around 4pm. It's sad when a business offers a service such as this and have people paying so much when you don't have proper staff to deal with problems like this. Oh gosh come on nah man, will you people ever learn!

I had the same problem “unable to access the net” since Friday (26-11-2004) @ about 11:30 am

The "unable to access the net" problem continued into Saturday. I called TSTT at about 11:45 a.m and they asked which modem I had and then which the firmware. I use the Speedstream and the last 3 digits of the firmware were A21. They asked if I could bring it in today (Saturday) because it might be a problem with the firmware. I just returned and everything seems to be fine now. The last 3 digits of the new Speedstream firmware are A4V.
