Increasing my signal strength I need some guidance on what type of antennae I should get

Hello everyone.
Ever since I obtained the wireless broadband service the signal strength as indicated by the LED lights on my modem is always between orange and red,and I want to increase my signal strength by installing an external antennae, any thoughts so as to what exactly I should get , and where it is available, I live in the New Grant area, off Princess Town.
