Hi guys,

This is a script that i've written to complain about the popular dsl timeout problem.

<?php
mail('TSTT Internet Support <support@tstt.net.tt>', 'Intermittent DSL service interruption.', 'Hello. I a
m having a problem with my DSL connection.
my internet feed seems to be dropping every so often.
I play a lot of games online and remotely administer machines all over the internet
this problem makes my daily internet life very annoying.
Please tell me if there is anything that i need to do in order to fix this.
If there is nothing that i can do, please fix the problem as soon as possible.
So that you will not forget this email will resend itself every week until the problem is solved.
Please contact me when you fix it so that i may kill this complaint daemon.

FYI: There are no errors on the dsl modem status pages nor are any of my network settings incorrect.

dsl line xxxxxxx
cell xxxxxxx
email xxx@xxx.xxx
Thank you', "From: Your Name Here <youraccount@tstt.net.tt>");
 ?>

I have it running weekly via crontab with the command php /path/to/tsttcomplaint.php. You might want to use it also, since TSTT is doing nothing about our problem.

I don't see this script helping you. Other than having the domain you send it from [if hosting remotely] blocked. Our your internet account suspended.

Have a nice day.

Well Obasi it's the only thing we can do. Some of us prefer not to remain silent and accept mediocre service. I don't think even TSTT is that bad to suspend someone's internet account because they're having legitimate problems. As far as blocking is concerned, you could use their own email server to send them the complaint and randomise "from" fields if they do block you but i think that they would not do that as they're taking a new approach to customer service. I will continue to bug them until they fix this problem, which obviously resides on their end but you can bend over if you want.

They have no right suspending accounts of customers having legitimate problems. We are paying for a service which isn't being provided properly and we have every right to send them weekly reminders until they have fixed it.
