    Okay....

I have narrowed my Wireless router down to two. They're about the same price but I am not sure which to go with so I am interested in what you guys think.

The LinkSys WRT54G or the Netgear WGR614.

I am interested in compatibility with the Zhone modem, performance, and ease of installation.

Now I am a Mac user. The NG has software for both the Windows OS and for Mac OS X. Whereas the LinkSys only has software for the Windows OS and not for the Mac. BUT LinkSys routers DO work on Macintosh computers through the Mac OS X Network System Preferences. Common sense tells me to go to the Netgear because it does include Mac OS X software, what's holding me back is the very mixed reviews I have heard about the Netgear routers. Whereas the LinkSys has overall a very positive review in performance. But I'm afraid that if I buy the LinkSys chances are I won't be able to get it to communicate properly with BLINK and the Zhone modem...... I don't know what to do........ I would appreciate any and all guidance you may have. THANX!

I'm a mac user and i have used both the linksys & netgear router. The linksys router signal range was alot better than the netgear.

How many of you current DSL customers...blink and non-blink have lost 'net access. My net has been down for the past 28hrs. Was told by CSR that there was in a problem in my area but later heard that it was a nation wide problem. (Im using dial-up to send this msg..sigh)

I currently have no dsl connection. It's been offline since 7pm yesterday. TSTT CSR says they are having problems with their servers and it wont be repaired until tommorow afternoon. So
    I'm on dialup for now.

    I'm in the marabella area.

I just called Blink. They told me my line is being configured. I wonder what that means? I wonder how long will that take?

They also told me if I don't get service within 6 weeks, to call them back. I would expect for them to say within a week, but 6 weeks man.

I'm located in the marabella. They told me the exchange was swithced over on wednesday, but customers have to wait 2 to 6 weeks for any increase in speed. 6 weeks is ridiculous.
