Ok get this.
They have me here on ADSL here still, but I am getting it at an inconsistent 512Kbps speed. The TSTT bill (eService online) say I on Blink Broadband@Home 512K . Strange eh, why they ain't put me on the nice ADSL2+ like the other Blink ppl!
The speedtest.net app saying I have download speeds at 1530kbps. I did it multiple times and got around the same thing. Sometimes I get downloads from HTTP going at 44KBps+ and if I am lucky and try to download multiple files (using Intenet Explorer) and its from a good HTTP (no RapidShare) I can get 2 files downloading simultaneously at just below 66KKBps. I think that is burst speed though, although it holds for at least 8 seconds and levels out at various speeds a little above 33KBps. I find that to be strange. Anyhow right now I am struggling to download some files and only getting it on average around 23KBps!! Been downloading a 700MB file, so that average has been over quite some time. Speeds are generarlly quite insconsitent here and I am getting on average below 33KBps download. Although the initial burst speeds look nice for the short times.
Oh yeah I am getting an average ping of 130+ms from speedtest.
