Well I just tried calling Flow, and any option I choose brings up "Extension **** is busy, please leave a message." So basically I can't get through to anyone @ Flow.

its good 2 see all this wonderful stuff going on with internet in tnt..jus have a lil patience and i'm sure every1 will be upgraded..i plan on joining the flow bandwagon this week..i have a few questions tho (duno if this is the right place to ask..?):
does flow's connection ever drop like tstt dsl(constantly) does..where u have to restart ur router to get it going again?
can the router be used in USB mode rather than LAN mode?
how is flow wrt torrents & general p2p downloading?
thanks all for ur help in advance..

The connection has dropped before, but seems to never have been nearly as bad as TSTT. Overall it's been great.

The router can be USB based, yeah. Why would you go with this option?

Torrents will work just fine.

thanks for the info..
drops on dsl are super fustrating..if flow drops say once or 2x a week..i can live with that..
i want the usb option since i have 1 lan card..and i use that with a switch to sweat lan games with my friends..wud be kinda dumb to have to disconnect to play..heh
does flow have a default firewall like tstt does...will i have to request that it be disabled?

nope no firewalls
and dropping apparently depends on ur area it seems
cuz i dont drop at all unless its a nationwide problem
some ppl get low speeds
i get full
and when it disconnects it reconnects for itself when the signal is back up
and just to let u know u cant share the net from the usb to the lan connection with the other pcs
in case u were thinking about doing that ;)

I have had real problems with Flow for the past 2 months, disconnects, low speeds etc. I am happy that since November 1st it seems to be working alot better....

Everything right except that you can share your cable internet from the USB connection to computers on your LAN - just the the Internet Connection Sharing built into windows.

I'm in St. Augustine and I've been getting solid speeds @ 2mbps for about 3 weeks now. I would definitely recommend you go with Flow, no need to wait, especially since modem & installation fees are free this month - that's about $600 you just saved.
