I have a quick question....
I downloaded and printed the LinkSys WRT54G manual and I think I have a pretty good understanding of what to do. I'm a bit hazy on the PPPoE thing. Is that the same as PPPoA? Aren't they the same thing?
Now correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Blink give you a PPPoA username and password to setup in the zhone modem? If that's correct, would I have to input the same username/password in the PPPoE settings for the LinkSys also? Or would I just leave it alone.

PPPoA and PPPoE are two different methods of authentication used with DSL. TSTT has traditionally used PPPoA, although it has converted some exchanges over to PPPoE with the upgrade to ADSL2+ (Blink). However the modem they give you supports both, so that the Linksys doesn't have to do any authentication - the modem does it for you. The Linksys does support PPPoE, but it really isn't necessary - just enter the username/password on the modem itself.

Hope that helps.
