It's just a game of patience, I've had to learn alot of that living in Trinidad
Actually, it's more like a game of the mass of people putting up with crappy service, and complaining to each other rather than to TSTT.
I'm happy for those who have been getting 256kb down, but the point is we're all paying the same rates and should therefore all have had it by today.

I'm also in the Digeo area and I haven't seen any speed increase [yet]. However, I first got the service just Monday 17 Jan (SpeedStream 5200 router finally came in, 1 month after signing up).
Interestingly, since i installed my router, i've always gotten speeds of 160 kbits to 164 kbits/sec on the TSTT Bandwidth Test, never anything higher or lower.
I also noticed that on the SpeadStream 5200 web management interface, on the "Status and Statistics">"ATM/AAL", it says my "Max. Theoretical Speed (bits/sec)" is "192000". Further down on that page, below "ATM/AAL Status/Statistics" it list my "Tx-Rate (kbps)" as 64, and my "Rx-Rate (kbps)" as 192. So it appears that I have a 192 kbps connection. But then why does the test never go beyond 160-164 kbps?? For other users with the SpeedStream 5200, what values does it say their and what respective speed do u get on the test?
I can post a pic of the page if anyone's unclear.

The ATM speeds are not your real speeds. The ATM cap shows how fast your connection (if allowed) can go. All bandwidth regulation is done through accounts on their server end , not the modem.

So when TSTT finally comes around to increasing our speeds to 256K, wouldn't that figure on the "ATM/AAL Status/Statistics" page also increase to 256000 or higher to represent my new max cap allowed by TSTT?

It looks like its an area-by-area rollout of the upgrade then.
BTW, what region you located in guest_joe?

I guess so but if they say the 19th they should have put in something to make sure that all areas get it, if not the same time at on the same DAY!!!

Yea. Definately. I wish TSTT waited untill everything was set to go. Got all excited, now we have to wait who know's how long to actually see the increase.
