Don't panic until a few seconds after 12 noon today I realized that it's not the CSR's fault or the technical people at TSTT; it is just an over eager marketing dept with their full page ads and convincing emails. I don't want to get stressed out over TSTT anymore you see

BTW: I guess it's not that much of a significant change since most people had to do a bandwidth test to see that they were upgraded Also did you guys have to disconnect and reconnect to get it?

Unfortunately it is the CSR's and the technical people who take the heat for the marketing people's mistakes.

Yes, that is true, and while I have sympathy for the CSRs, I will say again that this is an EXPLANATION of the situation, not an EXCUSE.
Internal communication (if that is indeed the cause of the problem) is TSTT's problem to solve, not mine.

They are not interested in solving the problem or explaining why to customers because, as far as TSTT is concerned, there was nothing to slove. Monopolistic corporations seldom have problems or a conscience.

Can anyone here with a SpeedStream 5200 contact me (MSN or PM) or tell me what ATM speed the router is reporting under Status and Statistics>ATM/AAL in the web interface? I'd like to see what the relation is between the ATM linecap and the actual download rate.
BTW, where do you go to test your upload speeds?
Thanks
