And we are back online again ... for how long?

I guess we might read something about it in the papers, as TSTT usually does not communicate using emails.

Anything ever posted in the papers for this just passed August 23rd downtime? I scanned but didn't catch anything in the papers i checked. Not even the "Sorry for unplanned downtime" apology e-mail. Is this the best TSTT can do?

Since 6:11am my ADSL connection is down. I can only reach the main ADSL router but nothing else.

traceroute to www.tstt.net.tt (196.3.132.8), 30 hops max, 38 byte packets
1 209.94.205.25 7.961 ms 7.208 ms 7.636 ms
2 * * *
3 209.94.205.25 8.802 ms !H * 9.633 ms !H

traceroute to www.trinidadshopping.com (216.92.145.253), 30 hops max, 38 byte packets
1 tservq.tstt.net.tt (209.94.205.25) 9.253 ms 8.565 ms 8.524 ms
2 * tservq.tstt.net.tt (209.94.205.25) 8.372 ms !H *
3 * tservq.tstt.net.tt (209.94.205.25) 7.159 ms !H 8.999 ms !H

Several ADSL disconnects/connects didn't change the situation.
7:23am 824-TSTT: "All our agents are currently busy" ... followed by a sudden death of the call 5 minutes later. Try again ...

TSTT: "A report was made after 7 this morning. They are working on it".

... via dialup

Does this normally occur twice a month?

Atleast, sometimes we're lucky and get five to six outages per month. I continue to pray at nights for the viable competition.

Holding @ 824-TSTT for 15 minutes thus far.

Woodbrook ADSL still down, however Diego Martin/West Moorings seems to have just come back up. Diego got leased a 209.94.222.x IP address, I can't recall ever seeing that subnet being leased.

Outage going over 45 minutes now... during Business hours to boot! Thanks TSTT!

Edit: Woodbrook back up. Total downtime: 47 Minutes.

Yes, ADSL went down at 9:13am (as my log files reported) and it didn't come back until I had to manually shutdown and re-connect the ADSL connection (software-wise) at around 10am.
