This is so frustrating and the crappy thing about it is we don't get any sort of compensation for these down times....steups

Since about 1:30pm my ADSL connection is down.
The ADSL LED on my Speedtouch is on, but I cannot get a connection.
This happened shortly after lightning during the heavy rain we are currently experiencing. I am in the 824-TSTT queue for a while (All our agents are busy ....)

there seems to be a problem with the outbound traffic,
I couldn't access any us or european sites yesterday while tstt.co.tt was working
fine.

Right now it's rather slow, I feel that freakstorm did some damage yesterday.

Well, my ADSL connection is still down (5 1/2 hours) and I just got off the phone with TSTT (824-TSTT). They told me that TSTT is doing some work in the Diego Martin area since they realised that there is a problem since the storm/rain/lightning this afternoon. Hope to get my connection back soon!

That is the exact same problem I had for a month.
It caused me to seriously cuss out a CSR cuz he had a extremely stink attitude and he deserved it. He was tellin me that it is not a problem with them and start shouting at me THE CUSTOMER, you would swear this @$$ was livin with me.
Well eventually he hung up on me and when I called back I got the exact same person again, when I realized it was him I said I am not even going to waste my time talking to you I need a supervisor. The fella tell me he not transfering me, boy i start to cuss him so stink I think that is the stinkest I ever cuss anybody in my life, he just say ok sir I'm transfering you now.
Supervisor came on the line and I was still blooming pissin vex I start on him one time and he just asked me to cool down with a nice mellow tone. I quiet down a little and explained the problem to him. He made a report and the next day a technician came and by days end the problem was resolved. The supervisor called the day after and asked me if everything was ok, which it was but I didn't forget to tell him about that little jack they had working in their CSR department, he told me he will deal with that.

Just one of my many TSTT CSR episodes.

Some of the CSRs can be like that... but there's worse... try the gov't service. Anyway it's important that you always get the CSR's name when you call.

Are they ever going to increase the speed?
Since last year when I had DSL and the technician came to my house he said they'll be doubling the bandwidth again before christmas and that never happened hence one of the reasons I disconnected it.
