Called TSTT ... twice ... both times waited the usual 30 minutes for the one person they must have in tech support to tell me that they are having problems.

ADSL has been crawling for the past 5 days ... just leaving this post took 5 minutes.

Of course they are working on it

Can't complain at all. Have same IP for days and it works fine for me. Had only two little hickups yesterday for a few minutes ... but didn't even lose any sessions.

My connection is working fine. Post some TTLs and a trace. Let's see where the delay is...

I noticed some dips with emule throughout the day (yesterday)
until about 1 am, when my connection (also south) went down.

it's slow right now, 8kb max., could be server-related though

yeah sucks, seems I was a bit too fast praising the reliability of dsl here in south. :D

I feel it's maintenance work, that TSTT -somehow- failed to communicate to their valued customers or maybe something just got damaged during that freak storm yesterday.

DSL is slow this morning, around 80 kbps, 30kbps, 120 kbps. I just called TSTT (09:57) and they say they are waiting for a few customers to call before they even attempt to try to find out if there is a problem. They said that I should call this evening if I am still having the problem. Maybe it's me alone, maybe it's TSTT alone.

Turn off your p2p client before doing a bandwidth test.

my p2p client was off, thanks :)

TSTT admitted there was a problem which affected some DSL customers. The problem was later resolved and they even called later to find out if everything was ok. That was good of them :)

What kind of figures are you expecting? Do you even know how tcp/ip works? Do you know what tcp/ip means?
