TSTT introduced new Liberty pre-paid rates.
Peak rates (7am-6pm Mon-Fri) are now $2.39 per minute (from $2.99) and off-peak rates are $1.29 (from $1.99).
The new off-peak rate applies Monday - Saturday. With a Sunday special of 75 cents per minute (all TT$ of course!).

It still to high! In a nation with 2 islands covering what, less than 700 sq mi these rates are ridiculous!

Well, I guess we just have to wait until Digicel is starting their services. ... which might be in 2005 due to 'monopoly' extension ...

I would'nt be surprised if TSTT starts dropping rates days before the new service starts to make trinidad no about their service......but i dont think tstt can get them to shut down like kmart....this is celluar service, it can stay for how long they want without many customers....heehee......

ok so the questions are:

1. Mon-Fri is peak and off peak? 7am-6pm and 6pm-7am respectively?
2. And Saturday and Sunday is just off-peak?
3. Sat is $1.29 6am to? Sun is 75c from 6am to?

If so many phones are sold so much money is received why can't u lessen the rates even further???? There is no loss in this. In fact TSTT would be more happy more cell phone purchases.

Stop the scam and let us use our prepaid in peace...GSMs postpaid have more privileges- interferring with post paid receptions - this is not fair!!!!! Our money have hole in it?????? :angry:
