Hmm must have been localised to you, haven't had an outage in a long time.

It went out just 2 hours later and only just returned.
Thursday 6 PM to Sunday 3 PM.

Flow CSR says they were doing work in the area... hopefully they are finished...

Flow technician came and checked the signal strength and the modem. Problem reoccurred while he was here.
Nothing wrong on my end. Problem seems to be noise on the outside fiber... modem loses lock because of this.
Their maintenance people will work on this tomorrow hopefully.

You are lucky you got a Flow technician to visit. I have been trying to get them to pay me a visit for the last nine days but with no luck. I have made six calls and still no technician call back. Maybe they have a shortage of competent technicians and hope the problem will go away with the customer. Some say Flow is TSTT on steroids...but it seems more like hemorrhoids. All I am seeing of Flow is that they are a poorly managed, technically incompetent company. TSTT now has a twin brother.

Just reconnected after a 30 hour outage.

Called Flow this morning about the noise problem... CSR had the request for maintenance and said he would escalate it to his supervisor...

I like when people say "escalate it," and it means to do what they are supposed to do in the first place.

A Flow technician called on Tuesday and I had to explain all over again what my problem was. He said they would work on it and so far there is no improvement. Maybe they are feverishly working behind the scenes but without success. This is what I imagine but only Flow knows the truth.
