    I have been seeing this lately. My TSTT 4mbit connection performs much better than my Flow 10mbit! E.g. HD video on vimeo.com streams almost instantly on TSTT but takes forever to buffer using flow.

    Yup so much easier to unplug your router, reset the modem with the button and plug back in the router. Done

    Actually if done properly its very difficult if not impossible for the ISP to find you. Rule of thumb, never modify a subscribed modem. The MAC is on file and you WILL get caught. Using your own purchased modem...well thats another story ;)

    BTW I am a paying customer...15mbit cable is a far cry from the days of crappy 245k DSL service!
