Similar problems mentioned in another thread and which I already replied too.

In Cunupia/Warrenville area and paying for a 1MB. Downloading at 15.9 KB/s this evening... Most times the connectiondrops and I have to reboot the modem to start back again. Very frustrating I must say.
  2. In Topic: My Blink speeds are lower than what I pay for

    Posted 25 Feb 2009

I'm in Cunupia (Central) and I've noticed this slow-down/stop a few weeks now. The only way to get back a start is rebooting my modem. I called TSTT help and they said my cordless phone is causing the problem - go figure.

I just downloaded a 1.82MB file and it took 1' 57" at 15.9 KB/s.... and I have a 1MB package. Can anyone educate me on this 'Zhone' thing when I access my modem? It used to be 'Paradyne' and I certainly didn't change the modem!!

Was off this forum for some time now but I had normal ADSL service and seems that we got "blinked" in this area the weekend of March 9th.

Speedtest.net fastest clock was at 2.7mbps and transfer rates are relatively consistent at around 150 kbps.

If you live in this area and don't have a 693 number off the Chin Chin Exchange, I don't know what will be your status. (Area serviced by two exchanges & has 4 area codes - 665, 671, 672 and 693)
  4. In Topic: ADSL down

    Posted 9 Nov 2007

I just discovered this forum. My ADSL connection (in Cunupia) was offline from 10/29 and only came back up yesterday, but with limited speed. Saw a link for speedtest.net and got these results:

A 6kbps upload? What can be causing this?
