From what I understand their EDGE service is up and active in most areas in the North but it is not being provided as a different service. As long as you have a mobile internet service (GPRS account) you will have access to EDGE as long as your phone is EDGE capable.

Of course I could be wrong, but that is what I was told.

Although I have had the benefit of experiencing TSTT's Wireless Broadband, and I think it is fantastic....I have to agree with Triniricardo.

There is no competitive product out there yet, so maybe it would make sense to wait.

From what I heard, SMS will not work from network to network until they finalize their interconnection agreement.

I hope no one thinks that I am bashing anyone. You can check all my posts and you would see that I do not bash anyone. My comments are based on the facts that I know to be true.

I agree with Jevolution that we need objective persons...but SUP3R's comments were not objective...he knocked TSTTs EVDO service without having any facts to back up his claim.

Also he made some comments about crediting a postpaid account from a prepaid card which Greg showed were not true. Greg is the one who had the question and he said that the account was properly credited.

I also checked with TSTT and they said it will be properly credited.

SUP3R...I know you may have had some historical issues with TSTT which may influence your perception of them (that is the reason most of us joined the site) but at least when you bash them try to base your bashing on sound information so that we do not mislead members on the site.

I think that there is some misinformation being propagated here. I spoke to someone in TSTT's billing systems management team and they said that the account is credited and can be used. In fact some customers use this method to pay their bill.

If this information is being provided by the Call Centre it is erroneous. If this information is being made up by someone who does not have all the facts then I suggest that they do not miss-inform people on this site.
