  1. High Ping and 1mbit download rate on a 2mbit connection

    On vacation and decided to play battlefied 2142, found my average ping is now around 300ms rather than 110ms normally.

    I checked som US speedtest sites and i'm getting around a 1mbit down and 580kbit up.

    The strange thing is that if I use tstt's bandwidth site i get a 2.23mbit download rate.

    Is this a general TSTT problem right now or is it just my account?

    btw, I'm using opendns

  2. EVDO and Online gaming

    I live in San Juan and get an average ping rate of 100ms playing Battlefield 2 online using Tstt's Home ADSL.

    I'm thinking of switching to EVDO and wondering if I'll get a higher or lower ping rate with this service.

    Does anyone have experience with this?
