Right man, with that being aside, lets focus on the real issue. The wireless broadband will be offered to residential customers at the end of August. Right now they are formulating the rates etc. Also I would STRONGLY advice that you all wait until the launch of laqtel, around the same time, end of August, before signing a contract. As laqtel you are guaranteed to get a wider coverage then tstt, well at least for now. SO having an option is better than having none, wwait till laqtel comes out, then make a decision. Thats my take for now. -

I think that it is a national rite of passge for each of us to have bad experiences with TSTT but I can't bash a service if I've never used it and have nothing to compare the service to.
Greg
Im quoting you, you said you cant compare a service if you have nothing to compare it too. Take for example tstt dial up service. You have never experience any other provider. However you know the theoretical aspect behing the service, and you keep getting disconnected every 10 minuites. Although you have nothing to compare it too, wont you bash it, for being a failure because it is not doing what it suppose to. -

Any updates when the Wireless Broadband will be offered to the residential customers? Anybody got pics of the devices? -

Yes, its $375 with a 3 yr contract, but that price will be revised for home users, possibly a cheaper price, also a discount will be given to customers, where adsl is not available, probably a 10%. Hopefully we might see it launch by the end of this month (june), and i will surely be signing a contract, because dial up in my area sucks, and no adsl. -

on a dial up connection , whenever a call is comin through, i get bumped off do u think its because of having call waiting or a problem with the modem
a dialogue box comes up and says you do not have the feature "modem on hold" and ask accept or ignore but b4 i can click ignore it just bumps me off what do i do?
Dial "07," before you dial-up to tstt, that will temporary disable call waiting, after you disconnect from the net, call waiting is automatically reactivated, for further help contact 824-TSTT option 5/3, and sign up for broadband, lol.
