  1. cant access cetain sites

    Hi, i'm new to this. Keep in mind that all i know about computers is how to turn them on :P I just got my dsl connection set up today by a tstt tech. I can access 'normal' web pages but i am not able to use yahoo messenger with voice....i can only use the im chat feature but i'm having problems connecting to the voice server. Also, i cant get onto game sites, such as poker sites, where games can be played with other players on the net. One of these sites told me that most likely i'll have to adjust my firewall settings. I shut down my zone alarm firewall, but the problem still persists, so i'm thinking the problem lies with paradyne. However i'm unable to connect to 192.168.1.1
    Any comments anyone?
