    well if the xp machine is working fine, and you did a fresh OS installation then its sounding more and more like your NIC may be failing or has failed completely. You might want to try what ninja_billy suggested with regards to trying a different NIC

    yeah i'm experiencing similar problems with the bandwidth test page this week, it used to work fine before but now the page doesn't load. But other bandwidth test sites work fine so its not really a big deal, just an annoying problem

    problem seems to be fixed now, can load tstt with no issues

    yeah i'm getting the same problem as well, hope its a bogus warning and not a real threat
