According to extreme Tech and anandtech and many more prominent forums Intel has introduced the world's first desktop 4 core CPU "Intel Core 2 Quad" this new CPU should be replacing the Intel Core 2 Duo
which is presently the worlds fastest performing Desktop cpu, even faster than the AMD Athlon X2 64.

This recent and unexpected jump in technology was due to the fact that video games has reached an unexpected height. With graphics in upcomming 64 bit games designed for windows Vista and Direct X10 utilizing Pixel Shader 4.0 technology (AKA technology that is mainly responsible for games looking better than real life) Such games as Crysis and Alan Wake has required a minimum of 4 cpu's to run WOW!!!!!

and a Dual core Video card. with minimum of 3GB of DDR 2 ram. WOW!!! <DELETED>
SO intel responded with it's newly introduced first in the world 4 core desktop CPU. Their initial asking Price for the "Intel Core 2 Quadro" on amazon is $1000 USD. or $6300TTD.

Now the question is will this CPU be of anygood for people who use VISTA for anything other than games?
the answer is NO!!!
This new 4 core CPU is designed for Next Generation HD Gaming. And normal users won't get any improvement with normal use.

But According to extreme tech and anandtech With an Interview with Intel Vice President they found out that Quad core still isn't enough to run games 3-4 years from now. So intel plans to introduce the world's first 32 Core Cpu by 2010. This will be used for XHD Gaming(AKA Extreme High Def Gaming)
However when asked what are the PC Gamers to do by then becasue in 2 years from now Quad Core will become near minimum to run games. Intel says that they are currently in the process of making a Mother Board that will incorporate 2 CPU sockets. So the Enthusiast PC Gamer can run TWO intel Core 2 Quadro on the one same mother board. Hence automatically raising your CPU count to 8 CPUs. Or in other words Intel Core 2 Quadro 4x4. Technicially the world's forst desktop 8 core CPU. WOW SHit!!!

This method says intel will be enough for Enthusisastic gamers of the next gen. However it should be noted that you require Windows Vista Ultimate to run 2 quad core cpu or an 8 core CPU.
This will be enough horse power for the ever growing adult gaming world of realistic gaming. However be prepared says intel and Crytek and creaters of the Up Comming Far Cry 2 series, by 2010 next 3 to 4 years in order to max out 2010 computer games you will require a recommended 32 core CPU and maby 10 GB of RAM and an 8 core Graphics card. maby a Geforce 9950 GTX video card. Because we are now seeing new games requiring two monitors to run. One monitor will be used to keep track of building your base and the other will be used for figting an army at the same time. Hence the current need for atleast an 8 core cpu. Two monitors is no joke people. Supreme commander is one such game a real time strategy that requires two quad core CPU in order to max out. That is if you are using two monitors that is. and it must be wide screen as well. Plasma preferrably.

I must say That I have Dial Up from TSTT, and it has truly gone to the Dogs. You can't even check your Email again. Its soo bad, TSTT DSL has gone to the Dogs as well. They don't seem to care about their customers, thats why for spite I have switched to Digicel.

Our only saviour is Flow. I called Flow recently and they said that they have 512k Broad band internet unlimited per month for $336. Which is way better than TSTT worthless 256k dsl for $460 a month unlimited. I see in Jamaica www.flowjamaica.com is offering their customers 4000k broadband internet for $171 TT dollars. or 1800J.

Is Acros and New World Network extending down to trinidad?
The problem in Trinidad is that ISP like WOW net and carib link etc needs access to TSTT Sub Marine network to Florida in order to get connection, So TSTT usually just ripps them off by charging them $60,000 a month for one T1 connection. This was confirmed by Miss Singh of WOW NET. So the big question here is Flow using Arcos/New World Network to connect to the internet and by pass TSTT. Hence they can give us any price they want and TSTT can't do squat?

Anyone who has Info on this please share it. Else if This thing with Flow dosen't work then we might have to try for Satellite Internet. VSAT. But I hear that way is now impossible. We the consumer now suffers that burden like Christ on a cross today.

Does anyone know how hard it is to take 20 minutes to check your email.
We now need to start getting more Info On flow trust me people Flow is our only saviour. Is ARCOS/NWN extending down to trinidad?
and How is flow connecting to the Internet? are they going through TSTT? or arcos
Why is it that in Jamaica that Internet is even cheaper than the USA?
Can we expect that same kind of prices here in Trinidad?
When can we expect that kind of competition here in Trinidad.

Come on People these questions needs to be answered before we can move further. The answer to our problems is no longer about complaining it is finding a solution. And first thing we must do is gather all the Info about Flow because Flow is the Next Telecom Giant in Trinidad. And only flow can save us. Jusk look at jamaica how come all the time cable and wireless were ripping off people and as soon as Flow stepped in Internet is suddenly one of the cheapest in the world.

Our answer is Flow people, gather the information and post it here so that we can look forward everyday to something great from flow.
