  1. Caller ID Checksum Missing

    Posted 6 Nov 2010

Apparently TSTT is sending caller IDs with either incorect or missing checksums. This affects more advanced PBX equipment, causing them to ignore the Caller ID information. It seems simpler equipment like phones and faxes don't care about the checksum, so still display the caller ID.

This was confirmed by two hardware vendors (Patton Electronics and Grandstream) after they looked at the traces generated from equipment.

Is anyone else having similar problems with Caller ID?

  2. Flow slow down

Is Flow slowing down? I have the 6M package, and the maximum I seem to get these days is about 3.5M.
  3. Flow Internet Down

    Posted 9 Oct 2007

Since yesterday my Flow Internet has been down. The modem can't even syncronise. When I call customer services, all I get is that 'the system cannot take any more messages'.

Things have gone from bad to a bit better to non-existant.

    Is Flow melting down?
  4. Flow speed problems

    Posted 19 Aug 2007

For the last few mornings, I have had speed issues with flow.

I have the 2Mb/s package, and most of the time I get between 1Mb/s and 2Mb/s.

But at the moment I am only getting 15Kb/s (1.5 Kilobytes per second)...thats slower than dial up.

I am waiting for a response from Flow (at least you can get through to them)
  5. Blocking Inbound Connections

    Posted 17 Aug 2007

I have recently got the 2MBit package from flow, and I have their modem hooked up to a router, so that more than one PC can use the internet.

However when I open some ports to allow outside connections, they don't seem to be getting through. I have tried another router with the same problem. I seems like Flow is blocking all inbound connections.

Is anyone else having the same problem?
