Hey. I have my WRT100 Linksys Router and my Blink Router Hooked Up. Together they work great until recently I got my iPhone and was trying to connect and it just would not work(later figured out that the used iPhone needed a new WiFi Thingy...) I was told by a friend to pull out the Router Plug for 10 seconds, and plug it back in and then do a reset on my Blink Router through the IP address and under Management. After doing that, I tried getting in to my Wireless Router and apparently it is set back to http://192.168.1.1/ while my Blink Router is set to http://192.168.1.1/ as well. How can i fix this?

Linksys tech support helped me with my wrt54g2. Here are their instructions. The general principle for your router remains the same.

    Just follow these simple steps:
While the router is on, press the reset button at the back for 10 seconds using a pen or a paper clip then release the reset button. Unplug the power cord and replug it back in, wait for the power light to be stable.
    1. Connect the PC to the port one of the router and the modem to the Internet port or WAN port of the router. This PC should be the one that can get online if directly connected to the modem.
    2. Go to your desktop and double click on Internet Explorer (Located on the Start Menu in Windows XP).
    3. When "Internet Explorer" opens, type http://192.168.1.1 in the "Address" bar and click on Go. You can still access the setup page of the router (192.168.1.1) even without Internet connection.
    4. The a log-in window will appear.
    5. Skip user name and type admin (admin is the default password) as the password, and click OK.

from Rosell C. (10550) to All Participants:
    6. Go back to the "Basic Setup" tab.
    7. Please set the "Internet Connection Type" to PPPoE.
    8. Enter your user name and password given by the Internet Service Provider (in email format. Example: user@isp.net) and save settings.
    9. Click on the WIRELESS tab, set the Wireless Configuration to Manual and change the SSID from linksys to anything personal then save the settings. Note that, that will be your wireless name.

from Rosell C. (10550) to All Participants:
    10. Go to the STATUS tab, check if the status is connected. If not, click on connect. If you have the message that says "Cannot get an IP from PPPoE Server" or "Unable to connect to PPPoE Server", please proceed to step 11.
If you are connected, you are good to go already, you may stop here.

from Rosell C. (10550) to All Participants:
    11. Click on the SETUP tab and click on MAC Address Clone sub tab and click on "Clone your PC's MAC" then save the settings.

from Rosell C. (10550) to All Participants:
    12. Go back to the "Basic Setup" tab and change the Internet Connection type to “Automatic Configuration DHCP” and then save the settings.
    13. Look for the LAN IP which is 192.168.1.1 and change it to 192.168.2.1 and save the settings.
    14. Turn off all the devices for two minutes (starting with the modem, the Linksys router and the computer).
    15. Finally, power them back on starting from the modem then the router and lastly your PC. Check your Internet.

  2. In Topic: help please line down 4 months +

    Posted 1 May 2009

I know how it is. My line was down from the 5th of January until the end of March. A few days before they fixed it I called TSTT, got transferred to their blink tech support (which, I am sure everyone knows, is outsourced to some Indian company) and told them I was switching to Greendot. I was at my wits end at that point. After being convinced to stay with them for five more days.... BAM!! a cable technician shows up on day three and fixes my line. God finally answered my prayers

My advice is prayer, and also to threaten to drop them for another ISP, that's the only way your problem will be solved.

Certainly not in Trinidad. If they were to enforce piracy laws here they would need several new jails to accomodate, say upwards of 100 000 people.

I was upgraded from 1mb to 2mb. I still switchin to flow when they reach though cause my blink operates when it wants to.
  5. In Topic: New TSTT Broadband Services

    Posted 16 Aug 2007

TSTT is struggling to pay their workers their ridiculously high salaries. I mean a cleaner gets close to $5000/month. Their new telephone rate system is a complete rip off and an attempt to milk the citizens of this country. 23c a minute everywhere. Are we forgetting ppl that it used to be 23c to talk for long as you want to anyone in your area code.

But back to the topic. Imagine in the US of A it costs approx. US$10 for unlimited dial up. Approx US$30 for cable high speed broadband. Now we pay $395 for unlimited dial up and sometimes the effing thing doesn't work. And when you want high speed dsl from them they jamming you unbelievable prices. I don't think there will be any price decrease for their new broadband service.
