.0 and .255 can be used by hosts, since node and broadcast address doesn't matter with PPP unlike ethernet.

.0 is quite valid for point-to-point links, since it's non-broadcast http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc3021.html .

Tstt's DNS servers went to hell around last night. I'm wondering when would TSTT fix their repetitive DNS problems.

Yup, TSTT's radius server either broke or otherwise. It only came back as of 3am today from 7-8pm yesterday.
