Anyone know why both Digicel and bmobile stopped the online top up via credit card?

I see digicel allows you to register your credit card and request top ups from it via SMS, which is OK because it means I can top up my phone anywhere and any time as long as I have a credit card.
Bmobile on the other hand hasn't really done anything that allows you to use any credit card to top up. Only FCB account holders can top up from their accounts via SMS, which doesn't make sense because it's not like everyone with a credit card is going to be an FCB customer.

So.....anyone know why the online top up via credit card was stopped?

I'd think that it'd be easier to carry out international transactions in US$ rather than TT$.

I live in Trinidad. I want to make a local transaction online.
Get where I'm coming from?
I want the convenience of topping up my mobile by using a credit card and the internet and in TT$.

I suggest that you search for that facility.

It probably wasn't feasible for them to continue it.

Anytime you buy or sent credit online it will most likely be a universal currency, Eg us dollar.

Hey, between http://www.ezetop.com and http://www.etopuponline.com which one would you guys choose and why? I want to hear the experience of others before going through the hassle of picking one. Also do they both charge in US dollars?

Oh well nevermind yes, I saw 2 good reasons why I won't be using either one of those sites.

Q. What are the minimum and maximum amounts I can eTopUp a phone with?
The minimum per transaction is US$20 and the maximum is US$ 100. For certain countries, the maximum limit is US$75. Also, you cannot perform more than 10 transactions in a calendar month.

Why am I charged a secure online processing fee?
This represents part of the charges which we must pay in order to process your card as safely and securely as possible online.

I will take the 5 mins walk to the gas station and get my topup the non-lazyman way. :D

Unfortunately they do not use any security (https://) when it comes to sending your credit/debit card information.
http://www.sknvibes....onlinetopup.cfm

With etoponline we got TT$ 127.02 for US$20 + USD1.00 fee and then additional TT$23.43 for a total TT$150.45.
