Hi!
Iīm currently working on a Garmin GPS map of Trinidad and use Google Maps as background reference. Problem is that Google blocks me after a while loading their images and I need a new IP.
I tried it by disconnecting the electricity cable of the modem, but as there is a battery in there it still works. Iīm a bit afraid to take out the battery because I donīt know if I loose my login data then. The TSTT modem had a nice browser interface that allowed rebooting the modem from a remote notebook but I havenīt found anything similar for the Flow modem as yet...
Bests,
Sasa

you will not loose your login data as your info is not stored in the modem with flow. It is safe to pull the battery or you can even press the reset button fo 15 or 30 secs not sure. When you pull the battery and totally power down the modem leave it off for a few secs to ensure that when you reboot you do not end up with the same ip again. oh if i'm not mistaken there was something about a sure way to reset was remover power cable and battery and then replace the power cable while pressing the reset button.

Thanks you. Still Iīm not getting a new IP address. I tried the following options:
- Plug out cable and battery, leave it out for 10 mins and plug it in again
- Plug out cable and battery, then plug it in again while pressing the reset button
- Pressing the reset button
- Rebooting PC
No matter what I do, the IP address remains the same. I also tried some of those fake IP tools but they are were usually full of spamware or just disconnected me completely from the net (as the one mentioned by dforge).

you could open command prompt and try typing ipconfig /release then type ipconfig /renew. that might work
