I applied for a residential phone line since 1st may 2009 and still waiting. The main reason for this application is to get blink so that I can do my work. On many occasions I have called but was only told a technical problem. I am very disappointed in this since I was not aware that it still takes this long to get a phone. I live in the Charlieville area. To make matters worst my neighbour across the road got one faster than me.

what's up with that

Can anyone give me some information or please HELP

Never use 'the neighbour comparison'when it comes to telecom services.

Are you on the same loop as the neighbour?
Are you on cable and him on fibre?
When did your neighbour apply for the service?
How's your credit rating?

My neighbour had Blink a full three (3) months before I got my service due to me being on fibre and him on copper.

Greg

I am not sure if we are on the same loop
and they have cable not fibre
They applied for their service some time in june
I have already paid my $212 deposit so I guess if something was wrong with my credit rating they would not have called me to pay that amount

I know its weird but in this day and age I still find a simple thing as this is taking too long. I think at one time after talking to a rep they mentioned something about upgrading the line in the area.

I also have a relative in the Claxton Bay area that has applied for a phone line and it seems to be a never ending run around.Last week would have made it 2 months since she is waiting for this line.
