Yes, I can confirm that for my connection too. My network monitor is now showing a constant warning about the increased ping times. The monitor shows a warning after pings are above 200ms. Previously the pings were at around 100-110ms. Problem seem to have started on Wednesday 17th at 2am (according to my log files).

Blink's been running really slow here for some time now but I assume that to be the usual issues so I think nothing of it...

i contacted them about this problem and there response was

"we don't control the internet outside our network" which is always there response in the past when they have problems with latency..

disappointing blink broadband, solve this problem soon and stop making up stupid excuses before it really becomes a problem for you...

It has been almost a week, which is unusual. Packet loss has been constant before the days old ping spike happened. Well, that's the incompetence of TSTT for you. When it's good it's pretty good, when it's bad, it usually takes forever for them to fix.

Ping still feels like 10 years ago, when 56k was the norm. Anyone found a way around the spike yet?

For me, the pings have actually gotten worse by a further 50-100ms. 230+ms is like the minimum and many game servers are pinging beyond 300 across the board. What's weird is that the tstt speedtest ping is 26ms.

Yes, I can confirm that. latency seems the be (almost) back to the way it was before. My network monitor stopped showing alerts about latency to my servers.

tstt ping tests you to them hence 26 is the best possible ping you can get to someone else on tstt this is highly unlikely because
the ping will be doubled that's what 50 ms to your neighbor?
that is you have to connect to him through tstt am i right?

For the past week or so, the pings have gotten back to where they used to be, or close. But there were also periods in the past week where the ping to some frequented servers spiked again. Then there's also the frequent packet loss, which happens a bit too often regardless of normal or spiked ping.
Tbh, I won't go as far as to say they have completely fixed the problem, which sucks. They're taking too long.
