Try rebooting your modem using the webpage admin feature...

No problem,yute...

I always use that feature if I get no Internet access especially after an extended power cut.

waz up guys, little help here.

started having problems with my 4Mbps package last year. i was only getting 2Mbps and was told by a technician that a line was pulled down in the area and they did not replace the entire line only joined it back and because of the attenuation i was unable to get 4Mbps.

so i was forced to downgrade to 2Mbps and soon after the same issue happened again. i was only getting 1Mbps and was again forced to downgrade.

after reading this post i checked my modem settings and saw that G.dmt and G.lite was checked. so i unchecked them and rebooted.

could this have been the problem?

my attainable rate is still on average 1200Kbps which was what i was getting even on the 2Mbps package.

any advice?

thanks.
