is it still available? and what carriers / countries can you sent or receive to?

You can check your local mobile phone service provider's webpage to see the list of international mobile phone service providers who may have partnership agreements.

It too damn expensive!!!

i agree with that, my first phone was a pre paid, pumped 250 (green dollars) into that account in one month...

Nope they don't work. They use to but now they dont.
And yeah, T-Mobile prepaid is THE MOST EXPENSIVE prepaid package you can get up here, but the reason I got with them is cuz I needed a phone quick(and I like Catherine Zeta-Jones :)). Now that I look back on it I wasted alot of money buying this phone and buying refill cards for this thing. Only after I bought the phone I'm seeing these excellent prepaid offers from companies like STIMobile, EZLink and Verizon...even Cingular has a more affordable prepaid service. As soon as I get enough money I'm switching, hopefully I can keep this number, but it doesn't matter if I can't not much people have the number anyway.

did you call tmobile to ask why the sms is no longer working?
and by chance have you been able to try from a different service provider?

No I actually haven't called them and I haven't been able to try on another provider cuz no one wants to take the chance of me sending a text to TT and it sky rockets their bill.
I don't think I will call cuz I'm switching soon either way.

so is .10c to text internationally on t-mobile?
I saw they have that in the brochure .10c/send & .05c/receive but I didn't know if that applied internationally as well, but my family on Cingular.

I sent one yesterday to a friend in Jamaica but I haven't asked him yet if he got it.

I was charged US$0.09 to send it so I hope that it was indeed sent.
