Hey Kemraj,

Um, I'm not sure how they will help you? If you own a digicel sim card they send you the settings automatically, and if you don't, what good are they to you?

Anyway, the one setting they don't send you is the GPRS settings, which basically gives you full connection to the internet, instead of that stupid WAP stuff using an http proxy. To access GPRS, create a new internet profile with the AP being web.digiceltt.com, and set the access mode to HTTP (not WAP), and turn the http proxy off. Then leave all the other settings blank, and it works great. Seems to be about half the price of the WAP one, I think until June sometime the GPRS rates are 1.5c/kb instead of the regular 3c. Still too expensive though, I want like 10mb for $30, that would be more reasonable.

Laterz,
Stephen.

Haha, 'thanks' is good enough for me, lol ;) . Actually I found the settings on digicel's website:
http://www.digiceltt...on_display=gprs

It's not intended for use on regular phones, it seems, but the settings work great! I wouldn't use them for browsing the net too much though, since your money starts trickling away real quick  .

Stephen.

Does digicel offer the 1800 Mhz frequency in downtown POS? If I could get gprs on my bmobile prepaid that would be great.

Digicel doesn't opperate on that frequency, they operate on 850 and 1900.

TSTT says they've launched EDGE but the icon hasn't changed on my phone, but Digicel's EDGE is up and running swmoothly, the wireless access they offer can probably become an option now, but what about the cost for that service? Anyone knows?

Nah I'm refering to their wireless service ie. the PC Card for your laptop and so on where you would need a login username and password
