which is also why ### bro is so hung up on my phone even tho half the screen have lines on it.

i want no razr! :-p
and i'm a bit wary of motorola phones
not sure if they're for me.

you wouldn't believe...a sony ericsson t230
i told you
cheap phones
i kept it around with my gt&t sim cuz i liked the alarm and it would wake me up which is a major miracle.

you know
i really have no clue anymore how i found the site.
but about a week or two ago i think i was reading etiquette sites...trying to not go bored at work with horrendous 'zilla stories.
and somewhere i googled and probably got this? and was shocked that i could actually read it at work (stupid websense). i could probably try going thru my history and such to find my trail. it'd give me something to do at work, no?
this thread actually prompted me to register to post

i live for cheap phones
1) because i've not found the non-cheap phone that i like yet
2) i don't really need more functionality than a cheap phone :(

tho, now that my sister is sometimes roaming with digicel, i wouldn't mind a nicer one for quicker sms.

current phone: some SE J300
i figured stick with something i know and wakes me up and all
i had two cheap motorola phones that i kept wanting to stomp
but it's probably cuz they were cheap motorola phones. i like my sis' v555.

alright, that gold phone is kinda cute.
but i'd have to try it (razr) before i bought it

i'm from central.
so, where are you from? is Sterling a very common Trini name? I can't recall meeting more than one. I'm just curious about names and I ask because people always ask me silly questions about my username. Of course if it's not your real name...then ignore me.

Well, I want an expensive phone I just don't use my phone so much and don't need it. So, I have this war of greed/want v need/actual usage. I'm pitiful...not much people to call or who call me! *sigh* ;-)

If I position my phone just right (digicel) I will get "reception" at work in my office (down in the bowels of a building...well just the ground floor) which is however better than tstt because i don't think i get any reception...got to walk outside a bit.

I'm trying to remember that I knew a Sterling once.
Well..that's not what I usually get. I get..."did u know there is a character called Lilandra in X-Men? cool" and I try to not respond DUH!

I had a cheap motorola C156 but my sis' phone got stolen so I sent it and the gt&t sim card back to guyana for her.
I had this t230 and it was my alarm clock but my bro lost his phone in a taxi and he was coming home next month and people were going where he was so I sent him my phone to use for the interim so he wouldnt have to stress abt buying a phone and if to buy a cheap phone or a cool phone while he had exams...now he comes home talking as if it's his phone and saying he's keeping it. I mean...it's not like I got a RAZR and people want it...or a blackberry...hmmm...The nice thing about cheap phones is u can drop it (klutz) and not be so broken up about damaging it (like how i'd be if something happend to my laptop).

I think I've only had 5 phones but am working up to my 6th...an expensive one with bluetooth. If only I knew what to get. This time I'm getting someone else to buy me it cuz I fed up buying phones and siblings taking it.

A phone to logon to messenger of some sort would be cool esp since I can't at work. Does IM'ing cost (alot)?

Nokia 9300 or 9500s look cute.

GAH!!!
He wasn't sure?? He wasn't sure??
What nerve!

Because that's what they said.
I asked him/the guy to clarify.
He said it'd lock down the phone.
I said I'd already put my (and my mother's) bmobile sim into my locked digicel phone (previous purchase) and it didn't lock down my phone, just prompted. I just switched the sims back and it was happy.
So he said it was a new tstt measure so new sims not my (1.5 year) and my mom's (3/4 yr) old sim. He said it would lock down the phone and there'd be no way to fix except getting it unlocked. (And since it was a cheap phone...it can't work with tstt's sim anyway so he can't say he was talking abt if i wanted to use the phone because i'm sure i asked him why would i want to switch if it wont use the right bands).

Not sure how people are getting confused!!!
grrrrr
