I find that TDMA customers should get free GSM phones from TSTT or at least a good discount if they want the more expensive phones. I mean, if TSTT is pulling the cord on them thereby forcing them to switch, they should do the right thing and give them a replacement, shoudn't they? I dont think $50 free airtime is good enough. What do you think?

This is a very stupid ans senseless comment......do you know that although tdma was more expensive to maintain the service was better than GSM?
Yea Tdma was not all that secure and no fancy services like Gprs (if you know what that is Max) and it was perminute billing but yet still these customers held faithfull to Tdma so why did they do that ?

Ill tell you why they got good service maxis AND NOW TSTT IS TAKEING IT AWAY SO IT IS ONLY FAIR THAT TSTT SHOULD REPLACE THE HANDSETS SINCE NOTTING WAS WRONG WITH TDMA .....there are still Tdma phones on sale and Tdma equipment is still in manufacture ...they are only closing tdma to overlay it on there gsm service to try to compete with digicel ......do some reading maxis

actually u had to get a text on ur TDMA phone from TSTT to go in and change over to GSM and get a free phone. I went in and asked about this since my sis has a TDMA and they ask me if she got a txt. I said no and they said she has to get a txt or a letter from them 1st.

If u didnt get txted you could still get a GSM phone with the TDMA no but not for free.

anyway.... GSM will now be better than TDMA, cuz it will be using TDMA's resources (the 850 band)

I'm just looking at it from an economic standpoint in that there aren't enough users on TDMA to warrant the maintenance of the TDMA network.

Mobile companies are in the business of making the most money from the most cost-effective systems.

You got your post count removed because of the term you called mario, and you know what Iím speaking about. mario may have sounded aggressive in his last post, but he is entitled to that.

But rule one clears states
No personal flaming or bashing.
Do what you wish by PM but it will not be tolerated on the forum. This will get you in Trouble and we will enforce this rule. Remember we are all here to learn and have fun.
