You can reset it on the website, that's working properly. I did it last week and haven't had a problem since.

I saw a letter to the editor today and the person said that if TSTT did reset your password for you and it starts working again DO NOT change your password on TSTT's website bcuz it will just stop working.

I saw the letter too and it gave some insight as to what exactly is happening there at TSTT.

If they're doing an upgrade then common courtesy would dictate that they at least put an advisory in the press.

If they sent an advisory via e-mail then most of the dial up users won't be able to read it as most of us can't seem to get into our TSTT webmail inboxes.

Well it happened to me today.
I couldn't get onto the net with my dial up account.
I called in the morning and the lady that answered like she didn't eat breakfast cause I could barely hear her.
When I told her I couldn't log on she just jumped in and said that they are aware of the situation and the technicians are working on it.
When I asked her how long they would take to fix it she said that she wasn't sure.
I asked for an estimated time and she said maybe after lunch.

Well I tried back after lunch. I tried again around 3PM and still no luck.
I called them back and waited about 30 mins and 25 mins on two separate calls and I GOT CUT OFF BOTH TIMES.

I called back a third time but this time I chose the DSL option and I got through after about 15mins. I told the rep. I couldn't log on and I told him the message I was getting about wrong username/password and he asked for a form of ID, I gave him and he reset my password and now I'm online.

Why couldn't the rep from the morning do that?
TSTT have some really dumb people working for them.
Complete ###. She could have asked me what message I was getting but she was quick to jump to some other conclusion.

I thought that I was the only problem with that problem but the account was apparently reset by TSTT and I'm getting no problems now.

You weren't the only one greall.

I think TSTT has been doing crap lately with dial-up and with cellphones too.

It's strange how your password just stops working and then when they reset it, it works fine.
It's obvious that whatever TSTT is doing with the accounts has caused passwords to be changed.

I guess this is similar to what has been going on with cellphones and TSTT.
Just recently, the Caller ID feature in one of my bmobile phones stopped working.
When I called they told me they would activate that feature for me.
The thing is, since I had the phone, that feature was active. I never authorised TSTT to deactivate that feature.

All I can say is that TSTT blows!!!!
