Dap is the best and lighting download accelerators

I used to use DAP until they started bundling a whole bunch of spyware.
I never really did try FlashGet, but GetRight is free and is easy on PC resources.

Dude have u every heard of cracking a software. So it becomes full and its not the trial any more lol

I've known about cracking software for years now but I don't think discussing cracks is allowed on this forum that's why I didn't bring it up.

As far as I know there is no rule against warez/cracks etc on here. You'd have to check with admin for sure, but I see nothing wrong with it - once it doesn't have viruses/porno etc. :D

See what did i told you lol. Their is no rule against that. We are not in the us to say that we can be charged with tampering with softwares (cracking).

I second that. Works great, free, and no bloat-ware.

hmm. im wondering if it would increase the speed of a dsl connection... applied for blink almost 6 weeks ago so tstt should be calling anytime now...

if i could get a virtual 1mb on a 512k!

or are these apps only good for web browsing & dont do a thing for dloads/torrents?

There is no app in the world that can realistically increase your bandwidth. All those connection enhancers do is tweek your connection settings or use compression so that webpages seem to load slightly faster. But the reality is once the ISP limits your connection to a certain speed, the most a download accelerator can do is help you get to that maximum speed.

They are really helpful with Flow, since it seems that individual download streams don't usually get over 400KB/s or so, possibly because of traffic to that particular webserver, or because of Flow. But what the download accelerator does is breaks the download into parts, and so is downloading for example four parts of the download at the same time, which means that even if each stream is only say 200KB/s, your downloading for different streams, so effectively you're downloading @ 800KB/s.

So basically it allows you to download at the maximum your ISP limits you to. But won't make a 512k connection work like a 1mb connection.

I am an experienced dialup user for years and after using so many different managers to tell you the truth Download Accelerator from speedbit is the best and fastest manager around now......srnoth explains the truth about dialup well but with this manager it has a really nice and simple user interface u can set your dilaup to automatically connect like late hours in the night to start downloading large files and stuff..You should check it out...Here is a link to make it a full version software without the advertisements when you run it trial version....http://rapidshare.com/files/74771844/Download_Accelerator_Plus_8.6.1.4_Final.rar

And to all users who are not experiencing your max dialup downloads which are supposed to be 4-6kbps and you time out or disconnect a lot Here are some good Trouble Shooting Tips>>>>>>>>>>your problem might be your line has a lot of static in it,check your phone's dial tone and see if you hear any crackling in it..If you do then u may have to call in a technician to check it out...If not then make sure that you don't have any of tstt digital caller id and call waiting little whitebox from bell phones hooked up...It interferes with the dialup connection..All you have to do is disconnect it before you log-on...If you still get problems then u may be infected with a virus..If not then update your modems firmware.......And if you have trouble dialing in and u constantly get no dial tone ucan try this>> go into /Control Panel/phone and Modems/then hit the {Modem} tabs to the top then look for properties then hit the MODEMS tab again then to the bottom of the box you should see DIal Control make sure the box is not ticked!!!!!So it will dial in no matter what...As for if you get "wrong user names and paswords" error coming up then it could be a couple of reasons for that, someone else is using your password at the same time, the person you are sharing your password with lives too close to you because folks who live a good distance away from each other can use the same password and be logged in at the same time no matter what, shussh don't let out the secret until I switch to Flow :P .....or last but not least you didn't pay your bill...
