dialup will be a thing of the past in the near future. only people of our generation would have experienced or knew dialup. i don't even see ads in the states with dialup packages, but as usual with tnt, we take sometime to adapt to new technology. years to come, all of us will be laughing and talking about the drawbacks of dialup and we could download a dvd movie in bout 20mins online. i can't wait for that day.

When you purchase a new computer online these days....it doesn't even come with a modem anymore......its as obsolete as the floppy drive.....
To tell you this is the sad state we are in....where a wealth of knowledge is at our fingertips, yet it is not within reach by at least two thirds of the population.. I blame the Gov't on having society like this..... i see it as a way to keep the people "stupid" This is just my view on the topic.
With all this wealth that we now have in this country I dont see why Gov't can't step in and make available broadband internet island wide...and at an affordable price.
Its sad to know in this day and age that ppl still have to rely on waste of time dial up.

they will upgrade when Columbus extends their ARCOS network to Trinidad, which according to this link should be by the end of this year

also this one

hopefully by next year Flow would be giving packages with rates comparable to Flow Jamaica.
TSTT WATCH OUT!

This is great news indeed, not just for flow users but also for the rest because the competition will force TSTT to upgrade. Brings back fond memories of when we had no isp in this country and only really wealthy companies could afford a 28.8K bbs internet connection to an isp in Puerto Rico.
I too am hoping that by next year Flow would offer packages with rates comparable to Flow Jamaica.
