That TSTT "representative" on the forum has been extremely quiet.

they won't give out that information publicly until they're ready to launch. So don't hold your breath for that reply.

Well, TSTT unfortunately lost one consultant from the marketing department this weekend.
Ian Thrush - Senior Marketing Advisor - lost his live this weekend in Maraval while driving on the Saddle Road.
TSTT Executive Stuff

TSTT executive dies in crash

Despite these tragic events, our direct TSTT connection will most likely soon post further announcements.

yeah I read about that in the papers, anyway:

I emailed TSTT about the post about new DSL packages posted by TSTT-BB on http://tsttproblems.....=0&#entry12013

here is the reply
from billing@tstt.net.tt:

Dear Valued Customer,

Please be informed the packages listed on our website are true and will be launched in a month's time.

Please be patient as we are in the last stages of finalizing the new High Speed Internet Access packages.

Thank You For Choosing TSTT NetXpress

Subject: New High Speed Packages?

I don't know if I am sending this email regarding new High Speed residential packages to the appropriate email address, if not please forward it to the appropriate person. (I sent this email to both support@tstt.net.tt and billing@tstt.net.tt)

Recently I came across a post on a forum which seems to indicate that soon TSTT "will very shortly be offering a brand new range of advanced Broadband services to the market". The new supposed packages are as follows:

256k Unlimited - $149
512k Unlimited - $229
1MB Unlimited - $349

This is a link to the forum:

http://tsttproblems.....=0&#entry12013

I want to know, was this posted by anyone in TSTT? If not, with the advent of more competition (i.e.-FLOW Broadband) is TSTT planning to reduce rates and/or introduce new High Speed/DSL residential packages anytime soon, and if so, what are the packages? If it is I would immediately apply for 1 of those packages that I listed above if this is true. I would appreciate if I get some feedback on this as soon as possible.

Thanks

from support@tstt.net.tt:

Dear Customer,

The prices are correct, but the service has not been launched yet. Note that the prices will be available within a month's time.

We look forward to serving you.

Thank you for Choosing TSTT Internet Services

Question: When is TSTT going to upgrade?

Answer: Never, not until people start leaving them for Flow. And I actually know some people who believe that TSTT is still the only provider of Internet.

I'm just waiting to see what they have to offer here as their lines are already here and FLOW's nowhere in sight...

Yup. Same here. Waiting patiently. That's about all we can do.
I saw someone on the forum say that it's October now and they got the info from a TSTT CSR.
