Could most likely be a improperly placed or missing dsl line filter. Contrary to what the tech people from blink may do or tell you, a dsl filter only works in 1 direction. So make sure you don't have any devices that could be "shorting" the dsl signal. This one is very very unlikely but it could also be that your signal is fluctuating and the modem cannot sync so perhaps you could try disabling adsl2+ mode and let it revert to adsl2. You need to reboot the modem after making that change. I also suggest a firmware update if you don't have the latest already.
How exactly do i disable the adsl2+ mode? -

It isn't a filter problem or device interference because sometimes it works without me doing anything. I will post the stats next time it's up. -
In Topic: HELP: Status Light Blinking

I live in lower barrackpore and applied for blink a few weeks ago and got the modem a couple weeks after. The first day i set it up it worked fine. The next day the status light went off and it didnt come back on until a few days later. Every once in a while it blinks a few times repeatedly and then goes off again. I have called tech support numerous times, each time the indian guy makes me run through the same nonsense of resetting it and everything else when all i ever want to tell him is that i want a technician to come and check it out. Im sure ive tried everything tech support can think of so it can't be a problem on my end.
Last saturday the status light was on and the DSL was running nicely but about 4 hrs later it went off again and nothing since. It still gives a few blinks every so often. I'm having to survive on the unlimited dial up for now, which is not what i'm really paying my money for. Thanks alot TSTT -

My aunt lives in Princes Town and has not had a working line since early 2006. A couple weeks ago a tech came to check the line and gave her a third BRAND NEW handset, each tech that comes leaves one, lucky her eh? The neighbours phones work but not hers. The reply she gets when she reports it is the ususal 'within so many working days' but nobody shows up.
